NCEA
St. Peter’s Cambridge offers a diverse range of subject options, thanks to the flexible structure of the NCEA (National Certificate of Educational Achievement) courses. Students taking the NCEA pathway at St. Peter’s can choose from 20-30 subject options, depending on their year level.
This flexibility allows students to tailor their studies to align with their future goals or to explore a broad range of subjects for a well-rounded education. In Year 12, students study six subjects at NCEA Level 2, while in Year 13, they take five subjects at NCEA Level 3 along with a study line.
Our academic planning and tracking systems help students select courses that meet NCEA requirements at each level and allow them to monitor their progress throughout the year. Career guidance is also available to ensure students understand the entry requirements for their chosen tertiary education or career path.
